| Abstract: | Изучаются особенности влияния языков-посредников (польского и русского) на фонетическое оформление белорусских лексем немецкого происхождения в процессе поэтапной адаптации к нормам славянских языков. Языки-посредники участвуют в вокалических и консонантных модификациях, а также в преобразованиях просодической структуры заимствованного слова – изменениях типа слога и слогового объема. | Description: | Lapitskaja I. Influence of the Mediator Languages on the Process of the Phonetic Assimilation of German loan Words in the Belarusian Language. The article deals with the influence of the mediator languages (Polish and Russian) on the sound image of the borrowed German lexemes in the process of their gradual adaptation to the norms of the Slavic languages. The mediator languages contribute to vocalic changes, consonant transformations, modifications of the prosodic structure of a borrowed word – changes of the syllable type and syllabic volume.
