| Abstract: | Данное исследование рассматривает коммуникативно-прагматические аспекты модализации высказываний с помощью модально-волевой частицы бы (б) в белорусском языке. На основании когитологической концепции А. И. Фефилова в материале анализируются предложения, содержащие частицу бы (б), при помощи метода элиминации модально-волевой частицы из состава предложения. Исследование выявляет, что частица бы вносит в предложения оттенки и эмоции (предположительной или условно-предположительной возможности действия; желательности; вежливо-предупредительного пожелания, совета, предложения; опасения). Автор приходит к выводу, что общим семантическим компонентом абсолютного большинства контекстов употребления частицы бы (б) является ирреальность. В результате исследования подтверждается связь частицы с языковой личностью, реализацией коммуникативных целей говорящего и выражением прагматической стороны общения. | Description: | Kudriavtseva E. S. Сommunicative and Pragmatic Aspects оf Utterances with the Modal-Volitional Particle бы in the Belarusian Language in U. Karatkevich’ «King Stakh’s Wild Hunt». This paper studies communicative-pragmatic aspects of the modalization of utterances with the aid of a modal-volitional particle бы in the Belarusian language. Based on А. Fefilov’s cogitological conception the study analyses the utterances containing the modal-volitional particle бы by means of eliminating the particle from the utterance. The study reveals that the particle бы introduces different shades and emotions such as (presumption or hypothetical possibility of action; desirability; polite-precautionary desire, advice, suggestions; apprehension) to the utterance. The author concludes that the common semantic component of an absolute majority of the contexts with the particle бы is irreality. The study confirms the correlation of the particle with the linguistic personality, communicative goals of the speaker and the expression of the pragmatic aspect of communication.
