| Description: | Vilchinskaya A. V. A Political Novel: to the Problem of Genre. The article is devoted to the analysis of the genre of the political novel, its evolution in world literature, as well as the identification of common characteristics of novels with political themes. The research examines the political novel from the point of view of its similarity with political and artistic discourse, reveals its marginal position, as well as functions and goals.
