| Description: | Gronskaya O. The Idea of Collective Responsibility in the National Narrative of Austrian Literature of the Second Half of the Twentieth Century. The article explores the role of the idea of collective responsibility in the national narrative of Austrian literature. The work of authors of the second half of the twentieth century was influenced by the need to comprehend the degree of Austrian guilt in the events of World War II. By renouncing the official position of concealing this guilt, the writers create a new version of the national narrative, which is based on the idea of collective responsibility for the events of the past.
