| Abstract: | На основе сопоставительного анализа травелога, авторского путеводителя и геобиографии предлагаются их дефиниции как литературных жанров, а также выделяются наиболее важные характеристики поэтики таковых. Специфика геобиографии в этой системе определяется следующими чертами: 1) город в тексте выступает как главный герой повествования, который наделяется человеческими свойствами и оказывает определенное воздействие на автора и его жизнь; 2) биография города складывается из историй его обитаталей, мгновений повседневной жизни простых людей. | Description: | Khadzinskaya M. Specificity of Geobiography in the System of Country Specific Literature Genres. The article provides a comparative analysis of the travelogue, the author’s guidebook and geobiography, their definitions as literary genres and the most important characteristics of their poetics. The specificity of geobiography in this system is determined by the following features: 1) the city in the text acts as the main character of the story, which is endowed with human properties and has a certain impact on the author and his life; 2) the biography of a city consists of the stories of its inhabitants, moments of everyday life of ordinary people.
