| Abstract: | У артыкуле даследуюцца дзве цытаты з літаратурнай спадчыны Франчэска Петраркі, прыведзеныя ў “Фрынасе” (1610) М. Сматрыцкага. Аналіз перакладаў на лацінскую і польскую мовы ўрыўка з 138-га санета “Канцаньерэ” дазваляе сцвярджаць, што толькі адзін з іх (на польскую мову) можа належаць М. Сматрыцкаму, другі ж (на лацінскую мову) здзейсніў нехта іншы, і пісьменнік-палеміст толькі прывёў яго ў сваім творы. Вывучэнне фрагмента з аднаго з “Лістоў без адраса” дало падставы меркаваць, што абодва творы Ф. Петраркі аўтар “Фрынаса” мог працытаваць па зборніку “De Russorum, Moscovitarum et Tartarorum religione, sacrificiis, nuptiarum, funerum ritu…” (1582) Я. Ласіцкага. | Description: | Charota U. The Quotations from the Literary Heritage of Francesco Petrarca in “Threnos” by M. Smatrycki. The article examines two quotations from the literary heritage of Francesco Petrarca given in “Threnos” (1610) by M. Smatrycki. The analysis of translations of a fragment of the 138th sonnet of “Canzoniere” into Latin and Polish allows us to state that only one of them (in Polish) can belong to M. Smatrycki, while the other one (in Latin) was made by someone else and the writer-polemicist only cited it in his work. The study of a fragment from one of the “Letters without a title” gave us a reason to suppose that the author of “Threnos” could quote both works of F. Petrarca from the collection “De Russorum, Moscovitarum et Tartarorum religione, sacrificiis, nuptiarum, funerum ritu...” (1582) by J. Lasitzki.
