| Description: | Gutovskaya M. S. Reasons for differences in language pictures of the world. The paper views the theoretical and methodological principles of the language picture of the world study. The differences between the Russian and English language pictures of the world are demonstrated on the example of the metalingual fragment, the reasons for the differences are discussed. Key words: language picture of the world; metalingual nominative units; ethno specificity. |
