| Abstract: | В статье рассматриваются особенности метаязыка словарных толкований глаголов движения, обозначающих направления вверх, вниз, внутрь, наружу, в русском и немецком языках. Установлено, что в сравниваемых языках дефиниции глаголов движения отличаются по объему представленной информации, а также по типам информации. Специфика семантики глаголов движения с дейктическими элементами hin / her, обозначающих направление, в немецком языке связана с особенностью репрезентации пространства, что находит отражение в дефиниции глаголов. | Description: | Ustimenko E. G. Definitions оf Motion Verbs: on the Problem оf Metalanguage. The article deals with the metalanguage features of definitions of the motion verbs, denoting the directions up, down, inward, outward in Russian and German. It has been established that in the compared languages the definitions of the motion verbs differ in the amount of information presented, as well as in the types of information. In German the specificity of the semantics of the motion verbs with deictic elements hin / her, denoting direction, is connected with the peculiarity of spatial representation, which is revealed in the definition of the verbs.
