| Abstract: | Травма рассматривается как категория, определяющая идентичность персонажа С. Жермен, французской писательницы рубежа XX–XXI веков. В статье определяются пути преодоления травмы. Обозначается роль данной категории в структурировании системы персонажей и сюжета в романе «Товий болотных земель». Категория травмы признается важной составляющей концепции личности героев. Метафорическим выражением категории травмы в романе С. Жермен становится образ болота, нарушение/потеря речи и безумие героев. Выявляется связь категории травмы с проблемой молчания Бога. Ключевые слова: травма; идентичность; память; «молчание Бога»; афазия; роман-миф; система персонажей; сюжетно-композиционный уровень. |
| Description: | Rydlevskaya А. S. Ways of Overcoming Trauma in the Novel “The Book of Tobias” by S. Germain. Trauma is viewed as a category that defines the identity of the characters of S. Germain, a French writer at the turn of the XX–XXI centuries. The article indicates ways to overcome trauma that are shown in the novel «The book of Tobias». The role of this category is indicated in structuring the system of characters and plot. The category of trauma is recognized as an important component of the concept of heroesʼ personality. The metaphorical expression of the category of trauma in the novel by S. Germain is found in the images of a swamp, impairment/loss of speech and madness of the heroes. The category of trauma in the novel “The book of Tobias” is directly related to the question of the existence of unexplained evil in the world and the problem of Godʼs silence. Key words: trauma; identity; memory; “silence of God”; aphasia; novel-myth; character system; plot-compositional level. |
