| Abstract: | В статье рассматриваются содержательные характеристики значений слов, объективируемые в описаниях профессиональными лексикографами и носителями языка. На примерах лексикографических дефиниций названий времен года, приводимых в авторитетных словарях русского языка, и определениях этих слов, предлагаемых носителями языка, демонстрируются вариативность набора признаков в представлении значений слов, разные структуры и границы их семантического описания. При этом и лексикографы, и носители языка придерживаются определенной семантической модели представления значения. К л ю ч е в ы е с л о в а: лексическое значение; дефиниция; концептуальная структура; вариативность; семантический потенциал. |
| Description: | Karbachova T. V. Meanings of Words From the Position of a Lexicographer and a Native Speaker. The article deals with significant characteristics of word meanings objectified in their descriptions by professional lexicographers and native speakers. On the examples of lexicographic definitions of the season names given in the authoritative dictionaries of the Russian language, and the definitions of these words offered by native speakers, the variability of sets of features represented in the word meanings, different structures and boundaries of their semantic descriptions are demonstrated, despite the fact that both lexicographers and native speakers adhere to some semantic model of meaning representation.
