| Abstract: | В статье предлагается анализ способов создания номинаций для явлений пандемии Covid-19: словообразование, заимствование и семантическая деривация. В сфере словообразования выявлен ряд тенденций: формирование конструкций с фиксированными первыми/левыми и вторыми/правыми компонентами; наличие гибридных единиц разного типа, нехарактерная ранее для немецкого языка продуктивность контаминации. Семантическая деривация базируется в первую очередь на механизме метафоры, переосмысляется не только целое слово, но и отдельный компонент сложного слова, выявлены концептуальные метафоры. В корпусе номинативных единиц представлены и словосочетания, выявлены их особенности. | Description: | Nichiporchik T., Furashova N. Nomination of Phenomena in the Thematic Sphere “COVID-19” in German. The article analyses ways to create nominations for the phenomena of the Covid-19 pandemic: word formation, borrowing and semantic derivation. In the sphere of word formation, a number of trends have been identified: the formation of structures with fixed first/left and second/right components; the presence of hybrid units of different types, productivity of contamination, previously uncharacteristic for the German language. Semantic derivation is based primarily on the mechanism of metaphor, not only the whole word is reconsidered, but also a separate component of a complex word; besides, conceptual metaphors are identified. In the corpus of nominative units, phrases are also presented, and their features are revealed.
