The article considers the linguoculturological potential of song material in RFL classes. The following types of exercises are systematized: receptive, reconstructive, reproductive, creative. Систематизируются следующие типы упражнений: рецептивное, реконструктивное, репродуктивное, творческое. Рассматриваются виды предтекстовой, притекстовой и послетекстовой работы, которые позволяют формировать у иностранных учащихся не только культурологические, но и необходимые языковые компетенции.
