| Description: | Roudenko T. N. Confrontation and Cooperation in Motivational Speaking. The article is devoted to inventorying peculiarities of the verbalization of strategies that comprise a politician’s rhetorical portrait. A rhetorical portrait includes such persuasive arguments as logos, kairos, topos, pathos and ethos. The aspects explored are the linguistic and pragmatic characteristics of Trump’s Oval Office address on the issue of coronavirus (March 11, 2020). |
