| Abstract: | В статье рассматривается духовно-религиозное содержание творчества Дойны Галич Барр (1932–2010) – известной американской писательницы сербского происхождения. Выявляются мировоззренческие установки автора и определяется жанровая специфика произведений, в которых представлены ее духовно-религиозные поиски, рассматриваются особенности художественного отражения духовно-религиозных исканий. Раскрыты вероисповедальные мотивы, представлены обряды, традиции и реалии сакрального назначения, которые являются неотъемлемой составляющей жизни героев произведений Д. Галич Барр. |
| Description: | Pervushina L. Spiritual and Religious Content in the Fiction by Dojna Galic Barr. The article deals with the spiritual and religious content in the fiction by Dojna Galic Barr (1932–2010) – a famous American writer of Serbian origin. The research reveals the writer’s worldviews, presents her faith commitments, and considers her spiritual and religious quests. The genre peculiarities of Barr’s novels are determined and the religious motifs which are introduced in the Barr’s narratives are revealed. The paper also looks at sacramental customs, rites and traditions, as well as sacred collective realities which make an inseparable part of the life of Barr’s literary characters. |
