Abstract: В статье освещаются результаты исследования связи пространственного и непространственных значений многозначных предлогов английского языка, которые обозначают отношение включения. Устанавливается семный состав пространственного значения изучаемых предлогов. Делается вывод о характере и видах связи значений исследуемых предлогов.
Description: Hurskaya A. The Semantic Structure of Polysemous Spatial Prepositions Denoting the Relation of Inclusion (in, inside, into, within). The results of the research have demonstrated that there is a radial connection between the meanings of the prepositions denoting the relations of inclusion in English. It is also noted that the meanings of the studied prepositions can be formed not only through metaphorical transfer of their spatial meanings, but also due to the idiomatization of the whole construction with the spatial meaning.
