Abstract: В статье рассматриваются жанровые особенности романа М. Этвуд «Невеста-воровка», который является парафразом сказки братьев Гримм «Жених-разбойник». Определяются приемы, образы и мотивы, позаимствованные из волшебной сказки, и анализируется феминистский характер их переосмысления. Структура романа сопоставляется со структурой волшебной сказки и делается вывод, что игра с жанровыми кодами сказки помогает М. Этвуд пересмотреть гендерные стереотипы, характерные для этого жанра, и проследить изменения в женском сознании, которые принесла вторая волна феминизма.
Description: The article is dedicated to the genre analysis of the novel “The Robber Bride” by the Canadian writer M. Atwood which is a paraphrase of the Grimm Brothers' fairy tale “The Bridegroom”. The devices, images and motifs borrowed from the fairy tale are defined, and the feminist character of their interpretation is analyzed. The structure of the novel is compared with the structure of the fairy tale and it is concluded that playing with fairy tale genre codes helps M. Atwood to reconsider the gender stereotypes common to this genre and to trace the changes in the female consciousness that the second wave of feminism brought.
