Паказаны прынцыпова розныя шляхi развiцця семантычнага патэнцыялу ад першапачатковага лекciка-семантычнага сiнкрэтызму: iнавацыйная семантычная дэрывацыя у беларускiм гняздзе i экстэнсiуная дэталiзацыя зыходнай семантычнай прасторы - у чэшскiм. Звернута увага на сферы неасемантызацыi i тэрмiналагiзацый. |
| Description: | Branavets P. S. Semantic Space of the Proto-Slavic Root *lik- Derivatives in Belarusian and Czech. Word-building families etymologically based on the Proto-Slavic radix *lik- in modern Belarusian and Czech demonstrate two different ways of semantic potential development. Derivatives of proto-sl. *lik- in Belarusian are gathered in three word-building families (лікаваць, лічыць, лік 2), where the original etymological meaning has been developing in innovative ways through the emergence of the semantics of quantity and intellectual activity; lexemes from these groups are part of modern Belarusian mathematical, economic and linguistic terminology. Parallel derivatives in Czech function mainly in two families (nominal lice, lie and verbal licit), where the Proto-Slavic semantic area was extensively detailed and in particular spread in building, hunting and military terminology. |
