| Abstract: | Объектом исследования в данной статье является инактивная структура с глаголами звучания. Цель исследования состоит в поэтапном диахроническом анализе семантико-синтаксических особенностей указанной структуры и формально схожих с ней структур. Проведенный анализ показал, что инактивная структура появилась в английском языке в среднеанглийский период. Условием зарождения структуры является перестройка падежной системы имени существительного. Дальнейшее распространение инактивной структуры в языке происходило в новоанглийский период. |
| Description: | The object of investigation in the given article is the inactive structure containing verbs of sound. The purpose of research consists in a step-by-step diachronic analysis of semantic and syntactic peculiarities of the structure mentioned and those of formally similar structures. The analysis conducted revealed that the inactive structure appeared in the Middle English period. Changes in the case system of the noun resulted in its appearance in the language. Further distribution of the inactive structure in the language continued in Modern English. |
