| Abstract: | В статье рассматривается функционирование ядерных лексем семантического поля «Честь» в тексте Статута ВКЛ 1588 г. Выделяются и описываются семемы ‘высокое звание’, ‘репутация’, ‘почтение’, ‘целомудрие’ и ‘добродетель’. Устанавливается, что в Статуте 1588 г., описывающем исключительно шляхетскую картину мира, поле «Честь» структурировалось вокруг семемы ‘высокий статус’, при этом для данного поля характерна слитность «внешней» и «внутренней» семантики чести, а также вариативность и взаимозаменяемость ядерных лексем. |
| Description: | Kakhnovich N. A. The Language of the 1588 GDL Statute as the Reflection of the Belarusian Gentry’s Ideas about Honor and Dignity. The article deals with the functioning of the core lexemes of the semantic field “honor” in the 1588 text of the Statute of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The sememes ‘high status’, ‘reputation’, ‘respect’,‘ chastity’, and ‘virtue’ have been distinguished and described. It is established that in the Statute of 1588, which describes exclusively the gentry’s picture of the world, the semantic field of “honor” was structured around the ‘high status’ sememe and characterized by the fusion of the “external” and “internal” semantics of honor, as well as the variability and interchangeability of core lexemes. |
