| Abstract: | В статье характеризуется китайская языковая единица 上 shang ‘верх’ с точки зрения фонетики, лексического значения и грамматических свойств. Установлено, что 上 shang употребляется самостоятельно и в составе композитов, реализуя как собственное лексическое значение, так и маркируя категориальную принадлежность композита как имени процесса/действия или предмета/явления. Исследуемая единица широко используется в словообразовании для создания переносных значений, отражающих специфическую картину пространства в системе китайского языка. |
| Description: | Peng Liu. 上 Shang ‘Top’ in the System of the Chinese Language. The article describes the Chinese language unit 上 shang ‘top’ in terms of phonetics, lexical meanings and grammatical properties. It has been established that 上 shang is used independently and as a part of composites, realizing both its own lexical meaning and marking the categorical identity of the composite as the name of a process / action or object / phenomenon. The research findings show that this unit is widely used in word formation to create figurative meanings that reflect a specific picture of space in the Chinese language system. |
