| Abstract: | В статье на основе контрастивного подхода выявляются и подвергаются анализу глагольные формы, составляющие специфику грамматических систем английского и белорусского языков. В английском языке это формы континууса и перфекта, а в белорусском языке – формы плюсквамперфекта и будущего сложного II. В ходе анализа данных грамматик двух языков обобщаются семантические характеристики указанных форм – как прототипические значения, так и производные от них, которые свидетельствуют о сложной и неоднозначной корреляции семантики глагольных форм английского и белорусского языков. |
| Description: | Betenya E. P. Idio-Ethnics of Grammatical Systems in English and Belarusian. In the article, verb-forms contributing to the specificity of the grammatical systems in English and Belarusian are identified on the basis of the contrastive approach, and further analysed. These are Continuous Tense forms and Perfect Tense forms in English, and Plusquamperfect forms and forms of Complex Future II in Belarusian. In the course of the analysis of the grammar data of the two languages, the semantic characteristics of these forms are summarized – both prototypical meanings and meanings derived from them, which indicate a complex and ambiguous correlation of the semantics of the verb-forms in English and Belarusian. |
