| Abstract: | В статье раскрывается значение понятий «фразеологизм» и «языковой образ мира» на материале изученных работ таких ученых и исследователей, как В. Н. Терия, В. А. Маслова, Е. Ф. Тарасов и М. Л. Ковшова; приводится пояснение значения и анализ примеров одних из самых распространенных в итальянском языке фразеологизмов (si chiama Pietro e torna indietro, fare bella figura, essere al verde, prendere il toro per le corna). Автор статьи приходит к выводу, что устойчивые выражения являются частью языковой действительности и помогают понять менталитет народа, а их исследование позволяет глубже изучить культуру страны изучаемого языка. | Description: | Yarutа, Е. The article reveals the meaning of the concepts «phraseologism» and «linguistic image of the world» based on the studied works of such scientists and researchers as V.N. Teria, V.A. Maslova, E.F. Tarasov and M.L. Kovshova; provides an explanation of the meaning and analysis of examples of some of the most common phraseological units in the Italian language (si chiama Pietro e torna indietro, fare bella figura, essere al verde, prendere il toro per le corna). The author of the article comes to the conclusion that set expressions are a part of linguistic reality and help to understand the mentality of the people, and their study allows for a deeper study of the culture of the country of the language being studied.
