| dc.description | Shubаdziorava A. The Linguistic Nature of Pun and Specifics of its Translation (Based on the Dramatic Works of K. Krapiva). The article studies pun as a stylistic device and the problem of rendering its meaning in translation. As pun is created by means of various speech units, inherent in the language itself and occurring in the course of an individual reshaping of words, the complexity of rendering such words as well as semantic and structural differences in the Slavic languages should be taken into account. Паколькі каламбур ствараецца з дапамогай розных маўленчых сродкаў, якія закладзены ў самой мове або якія ўзнікаюць з прычыны індывідуальнага пераасэнсавання слоў, варта ўлічваць усю складанасць перадачы гульні дадзеных слоў, а таксама семантычныя і структурныя адрозненні, што існуюць у розных славянскіх мовах.
