| Abstract: | В статье исследуется феномен интертекстуальности в литературе на материале произведений Аманды Кросс (псевдоним американской писательницы Кэролин Голд Хайлбрун), которая внесла существенный вклад в разработку детективного жанра в литературе США ХХ века. Для выявления типов и функций интертекста в детективных романах Аманды Кросс были исследованы ее произведения “The James Joyce Murder” и “Poetic Justice”. Выявлены следующие типы межтекстового взаимодействия (по классификации Ж. Женнета): собственно интертекстуальность, архитекстуальность, паратекстуальность. Сделан вывод о том, что творчество писательницы является ярким примером того, как интертекстуальные включения и отсылки расширяют повествовательное пространство произведения детективного жанра, способствуют углублению его тематики и проблематики. | Description: | Makarevich Yu., Kudriavtseva I. Peculiarities of the Functioning of Intertext in the Novels of Amanda Cross. The article explores the phenomenon of intertextuality in literature on the basis of the fiction of Amanda Cross (the pen name of the American author Carolyn Heilbrun) who made a significant contribution to the development of the detective genre in the 20th century USA literature. To identify the types and functions of intertext in Amanda Cross’s detective novels, her works “The James Joyce Murder” and “Poetic Justice” were analysed. The following types of intertextual interaction (according to J. Gennett’s classification) were revealed: intertextuality, architextuality, paratextuality. It is concluded that the writer’s work is a vivid example of how intertextual inclusions and references expand the narrative space of a work of the detective genre, contribute to the deepening of its themes and issues.
