The paper is concerned with prosodic discrimination of neutral and expressive speech in the British media discourse of a formal and formal-neutral kind. The specific task of revealing the distinctive features of degrees of expressiveness has been determined in the pre4sent research by the polysyntagmatic structure of the experimental utterances. The results of the acoustic analysis have confirmed the underlying postulate of the role of the maximal F0 peaks of distribution and gradation as a correlate of the degree of prosodic prominence and expressiveness. Key words: neutral speech; expressive speech; prosodic means; sequence of F0 max peaks; F0 max virtual pitch level curve; polysyntagmatic utterances. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | В докладе обсуждается проблема разграничения нейтральной и экспрессивной (ненейтральной) речи просодическими средствами. Материалом исследования послужил британский медиадискурс официально-делового и нейтрально-делового характера. Задача установления объективных различительных признаков степеней экспрессивности просодической структуры определялась многосинтагменностью подавляющего большинства экспериментальных высказываний. Акустический анализ показал, что объективным критерием дифференциации степени экспрессивности длинных (развернутых фраз) выступает тип соотношения последовательных вершин ч.о.т. во фразе. Ключевые слова: нейтральная речь, экспрессивная речь, просодические средства, последовательность вершин ч.о.т., виртуальная линия ч.о.т., многосинтагменная фраза. | en_US |
