The article discusses the contextual meanings, not included in the dictionaries, of specific vocabulary that arise in the reproductive register of speech (which reflects the situation of direct perception). The author proves the linguistic nature of the word predisposition to perceptual and contextual meaning on the material of the Russian language and translations of Russian texts mainly into English and German. Доказывается языковая природа предрасположенности слова к перцептивно-контекстному значению на материале переводов русских текстов главным образом на английский и немецкий языки.
