| dc.description | The article dwells on the development of English loanwords in Korean throughout the latter country’s history and defines phonetical peculiarities of the Korean language. Alongside with describing most typical transformations that English words undergo when entering Korean, the author also discusses the research on 2 000 most frequent Korean words, 2 % of which turned out to be of English origin. | en_US |
