| dc.description | Charota, U. The article is devoted to the reception of Italian literature in the works of Symon Budny (c. 1530–1593). The analysis of his preface to translation of New Testament (1574) and of his theological treatise “O przedniejszych wiary chr st ańskie artykulech” (1576) gave us a reason to suppose that their author read the works “De inventoribus rerum” (1499) b Polidoro Virgilio, “Adnotationes in Novi Testamenti” (1505) by Lorenzo Valla and, apparently, the treatise “Heptaplus: de septiformi sex dierum Geneseos enarratione” (1489) b Giovanni Pico della Mirandola. now we have not discovered the facts that would confirm the information which can be found in Belarusian sources that S. | dc.description.abstract | Артыкул прысвечаны рэцэпцыі італьянскай літаратуры ў творчасці Сымона Буднага (каля 1530–1593). Аналіз яго прадмовы да перакладу Новага Запавету (1574) і тэалагічнага трактата “Аб асноўных артыкулах хрысціянскай веры” (1576) дазваляюць меркаваць, што іх аўтар быў знаёмы з працамі “Пра вынаходнікаў рэчаў” (1499) Палідора Вергілія, “Заўвагі да Новага Запавету” (1505) Ларэнца Валы і, відаць, з трактатам “Гептапл(ус): пра сем падыходаў да тлумачэння шасці дзён тварэння” (1489) Джавані Піка дэла Мірандалы. Факты, якія пацвярджалі бы пашыраную ў беларускіх крыніцах інфармацыю, што С. Будны валодаў італьянскай мовай і вучыўся ў Італіі, на дадзены момант намі не выяўлены.
