| dc.description | Rudzko T. Specifics of Expressing an Approximate Quantity in Modern Russian, Belarusian and English. This article deals with the language means of the microfield of approximate quantity, which is a part of the macrofield of quantity in Russian, Belarusian and English. Particular attention is paid to the linguistic means of this microfield since the approximate quantity does not find an unambiguous place in the system of quantitative relations. The article identifies various methods used to express the approximate quantity in the compared languages and analyzes their frequency. Особое внимание уделяется языковым средствам данного микрополя, поскольку приблизительность количества не находит однозначного места в системе количественных отношений. В статье выявляются средства выражения приблизительности количества и их частотность в сопоставляемых языках.
